Daniel Tyler Bostian is the Operations and Maintenance Team Leader for AES’ Nā Pua Makani wind project. He joined AES Hawaiʻi in October 2014 as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at the now-closed AES Hawaiʻi Coal Plant.

Tyler holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Technology. He graduated top of his class with a 4.0 GPA and has received many awards in the technology field, along with more than seven years of experience in renewable wind generation.

Tyler currently manages the operations and maintenance of AES’ Nā Pua Makani 24 MW wind project located in Kahuku, on the island of Oʻahu. He is a member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce and is dedicated to helping Hawaiʻi reach its goal of 100% renewable by 2045. He also sits on the board AES Hawaiʻi Foundation.
